Head's up that this workshop is coming soon. Please forward and inform the heavy hitters, movers and shakers in your region of the state, so they can partake. We absolutley must get a statewide quorum to start defending our riding areas, so don't drop the ball on this.

The, Oregon Motorcycle Riders Association, www.atv-ride.com, Pacific Northwest 4-Wheel Drive Association, Snowmobile Alliance of Western States, American Motorcyclist Association and the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council will conduct a NOHVCC Organizational Workshop on Saturday, August 4 and an AMA “Ride Into Political Action” Seminar on Sunday, August 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day at the Portland General Electric Facility in Salem.
The purpose of the workshop and seminar is to bring together Oregon motorized recreation interests including off-highway motorcycle, ATV, four-wheel drive and snowmobile enthusiasts and associated businesses to establish:
• The foundation for a statewide motorized recreation association;
• A communication system to gather and disperse information;
• A program to motivate active public involvement in protecting and expanding motorized recreation opportunities; and
• Enable the motorized recreation community to influence the political process.

A registration fee of $15.00 (single day) or $25.00 (two days) will be charged to cover materials, lunches and beverage service throughout the weekend. Advance registration is required. The registration deadline is July 27. There will be no on-site registration.
