About me:
My wife, Melina, and I have been married over 21 years; we have two young
sons. We all love to ride. We especially like trail riding after the races at
places like the Morrow County OHV Park. I enjoy camping, boating, riding (quads
& bikes) and travelling with my family. I help with my son’s Cub Scouts. I
started racing in March of 2008 and was impressed with the friendly people that
I met.
My favorite riding area: Of course I really like the race areas and I especially like the tight woods sections. I like to ride at Oregon Dunes, China Hat, almost anywhere.
My first bike/ATV: The first bike that I can remember is a Hodaka 100 Road Toad, I worked at a fast food restaurant and would call in sick and go riding right behind the restaurant- somehow they never caught me. I’ve had various road and dirt bikes, quads and Odysseys since.
My favorite saying: “Just stinking great!” or “blah, blah,
blah”; well, maybe not my favorite but the most common ones that my wife
hears!?!
Why I became an OMRA Officer: I could tell after the first few races that I
like the people in this organization. I started attending meetings and helping
on trail work parties. There was a gap in the ATV representation and I hope to
be able to make a difference.
I'd also like to say: Get involved! Please help out the clubs and your
OMRA. Please help at the trail maintenance parties. ATV Riders- please keep
encouraging your quad riding friends to join in the fun. I’d like to visit some
of the other ATV clubs and get to know some of you. If you have an idea to
