Project Overview:
Rick Higgins has been repairing/rehabbing Pinemont Loop Trail for many weeks. Rick needs help to complete improvements to a couple of trail sections.

After the Work Party:
Bring your motorcycle, ATV, bicycle, horse, or running shoes and plan on riding/running the trail after the work party has ended.

Date:
Saturday May 19th, 2018.

Time:
Work party will start at 9:00am and will end at approximately 1:00pm.

Place to Meet:
Park ¼ mile before the staging area at the gate on the left hand side of Pinemont Road (N-17). The work party leader will take everyone to the project location. See the driving directions below to the staging area but remember to park at the gate before you get to the staging area.

Late Comers:
If late, park near the gate on Pinemont Road (N-17) and follow the flagging to the project location. Please do not block the road.

Work Party Leader:
Rick Higgins (Hood River County OHV staff) will lead the work party. Feel free to contact Rick at (541) 490-2643 if you have any questions.

Equipment/Tools:
Hand tools (loppers, rakes, shovels, Pulaskis, McLeods, hoes, etc.) and a mechanical compactor will be provided but feel free to bring tools of your own.

Bring:
The usual; coffee, water, snacks, work clothes, rain gear (just in case), sturdy boots, gloves, safety glasses, hat, sunscreen, etc!

Volunteer Hours:
Your volunteer hours will be used to help satisfy requirements for the County’s current Oregon Parks and Recreation Department’s ATV Operations and Maintenance grant. This will be a big help for the County’s Trail Program by bringing the loop up to appropriate standards, making it safer, and making it a lot more fun to use!
