12/13/07: made numerous changes after ODF's Calendar Meeting, plus NORA, JCTRA and OTBG changes.
1/3/08: NORA's Oct 5 race changed from XC to GP.

The Jones Creek Trail Riders Association sent Ed Ariniello an e-mail requesting that our Annual Rock & Roll Poker Run be scheduled for Sunday August 24th, I don't see it anywhere???

Did Ed reply back? I heard no mention of it. Please follow up with Ed, as it looks like Lobos already have that date for a poker run.

I think their site is gonna crash if they do a midnight sign up again this year.

I was thinking the same thing Kevin. Its getting to the point where its going to fill up in hours not days.

Why is that anyway? Lobos really does a great job of running an event and there's a lot of good people. But it just wasn't my favorite event. Everyone made it out to be the best. I just don't understand all the hype.

on the china hat ISDE hype question-
it is an interesting phenomenon.
i would be interested in knowing how many riders do that one race a year.
i think it encourages groups to sign up together and the isde format and spring weather help.
i signed up with like 20 people last year!

the race for sure has some legacy.
i wonder how many years it has gone on?

Yes, I did. I figured it was either one of two things.

1 - There wasn't an ETRA member at the meeting, and their Natl. race date was yet to be announced.

or

2 - They are scrapping the national in favor of hosting a Last Man Standing type event.
