Races & Events: Competition Memberships Eliminated for 2025

Starting with the 2025 season, OMRA competition memberships are no longer required to earn series points.

Riders can simply show up, race, and have their results count toward OMRA series standings. This change removes an extra barrier to participation and makes OMRA events more accessible to both returning riders and those new to racing.

To continue supporting OMRA’s work beyond race operations, $5 from every race entry will still be directed toward OMRA’s legislative efforts, year-end awards, and trail work across Oregon.

Supporting OMRA Beyond the Race Entry

While competition memberships are no longer required, riders and supporters who want to further support OMRA’s work can do so through General Memberships.

General Memberships are $5 per year and help fund:

  • Trail advocacy and protection of off-road access

  • Organized trail work parties and stewardship efforts

  • Legislative outreach on behalf of Oregon riders

General membership sales open in February and are open to racers, families, and supporters alike.

If you have questions about the 2025 racing season or OMRA memberships, reach out — we’re happy to help.
